The bad news is: a lot of these predicted shifts are in the negative gear for employee wellbeing. Employees facing mental health problems are 4x more likely to leave their workplace, and a concerning 39% of employees are planning on quitting in the next few months. Only 25% of employees say their leaders are engaged, passionate, and inspiring. Those are some pretty average numbers. We need to do better.
But here’s the silver lining – these are fixable, addressable problems. By prioritising employee wellbeing, building cultures founded on support, and nurturing inspiring leadership, we can turn the tide. Let’s seize this opportunity to create positive shifts and build workplaces where people thrive.
